Hey guys- bought my 06 IS250 AWD CW/Black, Lux w/ Nav yesterday. Get it sometime this week. Man, I am excited, I love this car.

So I can't modify the hell out of this like previous cars, I just can't make myself do it to a 40k car. But I'd like to get a few little things here and there. Any suggestions?

intakes and exhausts are simple easy to do yourself upgrades, Joe Z intake with an aftermarket drop in and Tanabe exhaust are the simpliest, some of the other short rams have been shown to reduce power since they are taking in engine bay air

Yeah but when you do rims..you have to do suspension too. (otherwise your ride just won't look right). Think about it, throwing some rims on it without any suspension pieces makes the cars stance look funny, if youre going to get rims..the cars gotta be slammed, and that definitely voids lexus's 4 year/50k warranty. I want to mod the shi* out of my 350, but the thought of losing a nice warranty over some rims is tough. Im going to wait a little. In the mean time you can do minor aesthetically pleasing mods like smoking the taillights, perhaps lexus ground effects pieces? check out www.l-tunedparts.com. that hid fog light kit from japan looks sick as shi*. If you wait a little the land of the rising sun will put out some sick bolt ons for the IS. if youre going to mod a 40K+ lexus, you gotta do it right. go strictly japanese parts.
