Some dealerships put tint on the car when released to add an extra charge on top of the MSRP. Just another way of getting more $$ with a hot car.
Now, you can actually negotiate the tint into the price of the car. It's still better if you get tint yourself with a reputable business.
I did not have tint on the car when I bought it. It's better to choose which tint to get and how dark to get them. Unless if the tint the dealer put in is "perfect," I wouldn't like to have it added to the car prior to purchase.
