Default FNG with question about front grill

First I want to say hello from Las Vegas and give a big thank you for the DVD/Nav hack. Did it in about 30 minutes and it works great!!

I am looking for a decent grill and wanted to get your guys' opinions. The only one I have seen so far is the one by Billet America. One of their ebay auction numbers is 170005815305. Does anyone know naything about these (install time/difficulty).

Also, does anyone have any better suggestions??

Thanks again for the wealth of info.

a) why is everyone on this forum obsessed with talking about things or linking to them instead of posting a picture? its not that hard quit being lazy

b) the grill is hideous on 2 white IS's i've seen around town

c) as far as suggestions go, well i agree the is grill needs a change. the blitz grill is the one so far that i think everyone wants but it isn't released stateside yet.

we're all still playing the waiting game. welcome to CL

Metro, don't pay too much attention to USC. He didn't call you a retard so you're doing well.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I believe billet grills on anything besides a Mack truck looks awful. If you like it, then it's all good.

There aren't any other aftermarket grills that seem to be available at the moment. I'm waiting for the blitz grill. You can do a search for it.

Thanks for the replies.....I have been looking for a grill and the billet one was the only one I could find. How hard is it to replace the grill on the IS??

Thanks again.

I just replaced the clearance/parking light bulbs today and looked at the grill. It looks pretty straightforward. It looks like a few screws and a few tabs and it comes off.
