Hey just registered here and used to lurk around and I saw the ML package isn't available around my area (Philly) and I was wondering if anybody knew the closest state I would be able to buy a 350 with ML without having to order it

I've heard people from New Jersey and NYC getting the IS with ML. Have you called any dealerships in South Jersey?

You should also copy this thread in the Northeast Regional Forum. You'll find a lot of IS owners asking similar questions in that Forum.

 

Just play with the lexus website with zipcodes and work your way around till you find a dealer that has them........they are mostly 800 numbers so let your fingers do the walking. Have the car trucked in, or go to your local dealer and tell them who has the car and you want to dealer trade it. If they want the sale, it will be done.

 

There are no ML cars in the regular allocations for the northeast region, including New York and New Jersey. The people in our area who have them either did a special order or were lucky enough to find a deal on a special order that fell through.

 

Hey Bichon, do you plan on doing anything as far as an after market system goes?
I know you regret not putting more effort into getting an IS with ML as I do.. I plan
on getting something added to my oem system, I'm just not sure what setup I should
go with yet.. I think the stock system doesn't sound good at all, considering it comes
with a 40k+ car..

 

If I could find the right aftermarket parts, then definitely. The big problem is that I have no desire to have a big box in my trunk, nor to start slicing up the interior of my car for a custom install. I want to stick with the stock speaker locations, with any additional electronics hidden out-of-sight. I'm not looking for an audio system to win competitions; I'd be happy with sound that is as good as the top factory system in the Infiniti M45 or the Acura RL (two of the cars I test drove that had great sounding audio)

 

Why don't you come see me in Phoenix and drive back? it would be a great first trip in your new IS and I have 8 for your to choose from so you don;t have to settle for something you don't want.
