I was wondering if anybody knew why you can only scan for taffic alerts on fm. You would think they would've chosen to put it on am radio which has traffic reports a lot more often than FM. In fact I've never got a hit when scanning for alerts.

 

Probably because RDS is only available with FM broadcasts?
