XM the easy way
Hey folks, I just thought I would share my wonderfull new xm experience with you. I bought a Pioneer Inno and have been thrilled with the experience. Being able to listen anywhere I want is great and recording songs on the fly even while I'm driving around town is just awesome.
Now to why I am posting this on the Lexus forums. I know a lot of people like myself could not get the car with xm radio back in December when we bought our cars. I have found the Inno to be the perfect solution. Just sit it in the cupholder and plug it in to mp3 jack in the console. No need for the car kit unless you live out in the country or travel alot. The Inno picks up the the signal from the boosters in large citys just fine, only fades once in a while under overpasses.
Oh yeah, the Inno has the same smoked silver finish as the IS, as if it were made for it.
Now this really put a smile on my face.
The other day I was playing around with the settings on the inno, and as expected all off my signal comes from the tertiary antenaes, nothing from the satellite. Then I looked up and opened the sunroof, violla - I got full satellite signal from the cupholder through the sunroof.
The Inno is $399.00 and works in your car, house, armband- wherever. It comes with the home docking kit but the car kit is $70.00 extra, but as I stated above. I don't need the car kit.
Sound quality is definately not cd quality, but it is good.
This is the best new product besides my IS that I have bought in years.
