Inventory of IS350 & Pricing??
Ok my current lease on my g35 ends in 2 months and I'm considering a IS350. My question is now that the car is been out for at least 6 months now, how is inventory on the lots now. Shouldn't it be time to see a lot more cars on the lot or are they still like btween 5-10 cars per dealerships? Also it seems that the cars can be had for like $3500 under MSRP now...still need to work closer to invoice which is another $1500 off that MSRP. Shouldn't now production be increasing and demand lowering after 6 months. I'm hoping to score one close to invoice and start seeing better terms in money factor. I mean I'm seeing like 3K off ES350's already and those have just been released a few months ago. Lexus needs to bump production of this car now.

I think what the gentlemen above are trying to say is that they severely doubt that you will be able to find a 350 that close to invoice. Supply definitely hasn't caught up with demand and Lexus has actually shifted some of it's 2IS production capacity to the ES350.
I got lucky in finding what I wanted (in my sig) as that was the only one the dealership would see for the next month. 250's seem to be much more available than 350's.
Good luck.

(A) The MSRP of a nicely-equipped IS350 is about $6k above invoice. No matter how much people get off the car, it is still selling well above invoice (about $2-3k above invoice). If you read that there are some people getting the car (IS or ES) at or below invoice, it is because they work for Toyota, or have relatives/friends who can get such a deal, or have been return customers for certain Lexus dealerships.
(B) Production is not increasing, and in fact has decreased to meet demands for the new ES. Since supply is low and demand is high, it is unlikely that OTD prices will drop anytime soon. It will also get crazy if Lexus suprises us with a coupe/convertible by next year, or the much rumored V8 IS.
Therefore, if you are looking at getting the IS350 in a couple of months, please be realistic. Expect to pay well above invoice, but do your best to get as much bells and whistles from the deal. If you have any questions about pricing, supply/demand, options and availability, dealership perks, and other questions about purchasing the IS, use "Search." You'll find valuable information that will help you with your purchase/lease.
Good luck and keep us informed with the hunt!
