Did your lease include "extra" charges?
Some dealers and lending institutions include what I consider to be bogus charges in their lease pricing. These charges go by names like "Lease Acquisition Fee", "Bank Fees", "Doc Fees", etc. Even on leascompare.com I see lenders adding as much as $1,000 in fees like this.
You need to remember each $1,000 equals about $30 a month on a 36-month lease, and they're often slipped in just so the dealer - or the lender - can make more profit. I can't believe Lexus itself would scam people with these fees, but I guess I could be surprised ... (?).

I had no suprises when I signed the lease documents. Initially there was a $600 acq fee. My last car was $500. I was able to get them to split the cost with me for this fee. They told me it goes to Toyota Motors and it was required. So they took $300 off the vehicle cost.
