this is kinda a wierd question, but how do you get the night time display for the map on the navi, i thought it would be a simple change, but i looked for 10 min. and nothin...its prob. something stupid i am looking over, anyway...thanks for the help

 

dash light dimmer. just turn it to the left.

 

and that turns the actuall map on the navi screen to the blue color? i thought that just dimmed the dash, and consol, not navi...

 

If the dash dimmer is turned full up, the Navi screen will not switch to night mode. Turn is down just below the click for full bright, and the screen will switch to night mode when it gets dark.

 

Never knew there was a night display for the navi. Always had the **** turned all the way to the right. Good to know.

This also affects the DVD player at night. You would need to have the dash dimmer at max to watch a movie. Otherwise, it would be too dark.
