As for the look, I personally wouldn't add a sharkfin. But I have no problem if somebody does. It's no different than adding a rear spoiler, which also has no function and is strictly cosmetic.

My understanding is the BEST place to put a sat radio antenna is on the outside of the car. I think that is also what Lexus recommends (that is why the antenna is magnetic, to stick on the trunk). Sure, you can place it in the car. But my dealer said they don't recommend it and reception in some areas will go down.

Your opinion. I disagree. I like the sharkfin (when functional).

I think with the BMW's one of the build options is that you can get the car pre-wired The car is wired for it even though you don't have it so i think they would put the sharkfin on for that reason
