As some members know I got my car last week and was waiting till I finished all the preliminary things I wanted to do to it before makine a 'My Car is here' thread. Yesterday as I was cleaning bird poop...lots of it.... I proceded to wipe what I thought was the last spot on my left rear corner.

NOPE! It was not bird poop it was about a 2inch gash from a yellow car (I work in a medical complex across many retirement centers...you get the deal). Now my question is what's the best over the counter remedy as there are indentation marks where the yellow paint is embedded and i don't want to 'scrape' it off.

All in all I guess I should join the ranks of us who just gotta 'laugh it off' and be thankful I didn't hit bambi (^saint )

Go to Napa or Autozone. And pick up Meguires fine cut cleaner with some terry towels. within a couple minutes the other cars paint should come off.

Personally, if it's anything more than a slight blemish, I'd take it to a pro. They can probably take care it if easily, and cheaply.

Although it sucked that it happen to your IS but by your title, I thought something extreme happen to your car. The little scrape is nothing compare to things that happen to other pple's 2IS. Well, hope you get it fix soon.
