exactly.

.....just trying to offer an option to the plain pillars. Some will like, some will not.....that's why we all modify our cars differently. What do I mean I have the patterns....well I made the patterns based on my pillars, and had my CF supplier make them. They manufacturer dash kits for a lot of the other companies on the market...they do all my custom work.

Funny....I'm not sure what is rice anymore, but I'm getting old so I'm not suprised. As for the decals....almost everything on this car is sponsored, so decals are a necessary evil. Would I rather not have them...of course, but that's the trade-off. Most people who hate sponsored vehicles that have decals actually cannot get sponsorships themselves.... Oh, the swirls are actually the Xpel, not the paint, but thanks for the concern about how I spent my money....

All this just because I posted pics of some pieces I had made.......

I think they look great.

I must say i'm a bit surprised at all the negative comments. I do realize i'm new here and haven't quite found the "thoughts and opinions" of the members as a whole. But it's obvious that most are not into the "import tuner" aspect. Although I agree, reall CF replacements are better, i can also appreciate real CF overlays. I have spent the last decade modding Hondas and recently Subarus, ...I knew purchasing this car was gonna change my directions, but am still amazed at how drastic a difference the stereotype is.

Anyways, nice job on the CF.

As others have said, it is hard to judge with the close-ups. Please post a picture of the whole car.

Also, MrMark, unless you like getting tons of spam, I'd recommend editing your email address out of your post. There are spam-bots that crawl the Internet looking for addresses. That's why if I have to post an email address, I'll add it with Photoshop to the picture.

Cool

As others have requested, I would like to see the whole side view of your car. So far it looks like quite an attention getter. I promise not to add any negative comments.

Are your seats custom as well? The middle portion looks like fabric.

Here are some pics...a few closer up.....

You have to get close to the car to really notice them....from farther away, they are barely visible.

Yes, these are real carbon fiber, but they are stick on (3M). They are not replacement pillars, just overlays. They will not decrease the weight of the car, they will not increase horsepower, and they will not improve handling. They are a purely cosmetic modification that SOME of you may be interested in. I appologize if some think it's tacky, ricey, crappy, *****ty, APC'ish, or whatever else you can think of, but I like them, and yes, I am sponsored by Road Magnet and Team Lexus, so the decal stays. By the way, they're also on my M45 and have yet to run into anyone who did not like them......

Nice, How much "thickness" does it add?

BTW, still waiting for your PM reply.
