can you clarify these differences? i'm dumb to coilovers...all i know is that you can adjust your ride height. you saying you can adjust that and the stiffness (i thought they were associated)

Usually, when you adjust ride height, most normal coilovers you adjust via a spring perch, and brings the spring up and down. The lower you go, the more you hurt performance on the coilovers. When you adjust using the spring perches, you actually "pre-load" the springs. On more performance oriented coilovers, you can adjust the actual shock body itself by turning the bottom of it to adjust ride height. This will keep the spring unloaded.

For stiffness, that would be the damper. You adjust those independently, via a adjustment **** on the top of the shock, or sometimes in the rear, it can be on the shock body.

Well guys my setup cost me $1600 & I was waiting since Feb 2 get it, but I gotta tell ya, it was worth the wait........ I took the beast out 2day & ran some roads & had 2 show a couple of BMW owners how 2 handle there cars on curves & this JIC is off the hook, I have never felt a suspension feel so close 2 factory but takin turns smooth as h*ll & im talkin sharp turns almost equal to a u-turn........ FEEL ME....
This is my 4th Lex that I have done suspenion work on(94 GS3, 96 SC4, 02 IS3, & now the 350) & none of the work I did on those feels like this setup, in fact I have a 98 Eclipse GST right now I have 4 a beater so 2 speak & it has a JIC setup in it as well & the 350 aka the BEAST blows it away as far as the handling & basicly everything else..........lol
In all honesty I took an off ramp @ about 67-70 with no sweat & I felt like the car just wanted 2 swallow up the curve, all I can say is JIC JIC JIC JIC JIC...........
Now I really cant wait 2 put my rims on this weekend, thats if the gods & the ups man smile down on me Lata...........

I'm referring to his Eclipse, since he said he has a '98 Eclipse with JIC Coilovers on them.

Didn't mean to confuse you.

West End eh? Make sure you take a **** before you go, cause you'll be in for a long wait, sitting in your car.

My friend went there, and he needed to take a **** so bad, but he was sitting in the car while they were corner balancing it.

Any pics of the wheels and the drop yet? I am thinking about ordering the JIC's today. Any new information (pros and cons) since you have had tehm for a few weeks?

Thank you for your help in advance.
