I got it at Ray Catena Lexus of Oakherst, NJ. Great dealership, but known to snub people who don't "look" like a million bucks. I went in a dress shirt and slacks...

The other test cars I drove were a Pontiac Grand Prix and a Honda Accord, which are very diffrent, but I decided to make the jump to a Lexus when the prices quoted for those cars fully loaded were only about 5-6K less then my Lexus. And the diffrence between a Pontiac and Lexus....6K??... no second thought needed!

well since u got a 250, like me, the power is actually one of the only negatives this car has

but with the 2IS, you get alot more features and goods for about the same amount of money as the other cars. Also it definately looks better than the G35, and MB C-Class and the 3 series sedan, even tho i must admit the 3 series coupe is nice

See for me, the 250 AWD is what I want. I dont like too much speed with cars (Im liable to get a ticket instantly)... so I tend to go for smaller engines. Then again, I am upgrading from a 1.9L 4 cyl to a 2.5L V6...improvement...

Congrats on your new purchase. I know what you mean regarding a more powerful car. Lead foot is a disease, LOL.

If you include steering feedback in your definition of handling (I do), I'd have to disagree. I drove the E90 330i and IS350 nearly back to back on the same roads, and the difference in steering feel and feedback was apparent when taking curves even at a mildly aggresive pace.
