With that said, I'm getting a set of Volk Progressive Spoke wheels in 18"s and I'll be paying about the same amount. They're lighter and stronger. For that kind of money, you can pretty much get your pick of some top wheels.

I agree although the ISPs are rare you can get a decent set of aftermarket rims. Personally I prefer the stock and g-spyder over the ISP

The ISPs have a darker finish than stockers, so brake dust becomes noticeable less quickly. Also, I really don't think it adds more than a few minutes to overall wash time.

I'm biased because I have blk/blk with ISP, which I think looks really sharp. I'm less thrilled with ISPs on other colors, though I think the G-Spiders look fantasic on red.

I am likely a bit extreme, but I clean my wheels of brake dust almost every day when my IS350 is put to sleep for the night in the garage...this way she is ready to go in the AM. I find the stock 18's are a pretty quick clean. . The whole car is handwashed every few days.

No wax yet, paint too new. On past cars, wax just 3 times a year. I enjoy washing the car. In fact, usually do my wife's (Merc ML350), teen daughter (mazda 3) and my own at the same time. Getting off the topic but was only making the point that IS has excessive brake dust compared to other cars I have had and the stock 18's are easy to clean.

I received a quote from the dealer of $695 for the rear spoiler installed.

For some reason to me, the standard 18" looks bigger than the ISP, just the look...

cot damn, I hope that also includes the spoiler, either wy it's waaay too much IMO. I'd just get them off Sewell for $250+ and have them installed somewhere else.

After seeing the ISP wheels, I'm glad I got the stock 18s. I'm just not feeling them. As for cleaning wheels, it's really up to the owner how to keep it clean, regardless what type of wheels they are. I have the standard 18s and it takes me 5 minutes to wipe off the brake dust every other day.

I bought the ISP's and think they're way nicer than the stockers. The stocks have that cheap flat silver finish and has a generic split spoke style that lots of other manufacturers use. The ISP's look bigger in person than the stocks as well to me because the spokes go all the way to the edge of the lip of the wheel, the whole wheel in general basically gives an elegant sporty look just right for the IS. I think the gunmetal finish keeps the wheels looking clean longer because brake dust isn't as apparent, and cleaning is not much of a problem compared to stock as long as you have the right brush for the job so even though it's more spokes to clean, the color makes it so you don't need to clean it as much.

ISP are nice and look good on the IS, but for some reason I like the stock better. can't put a finger on it though.

I think the ISPs are very boring to look at.
