Question Stuck RDS Info

One one of my FM stations, the RDS info hasn't changed in 2 days. All the other stations info updates with each song, but not this one station. I've checked on another car radio, and the data is updating on it. Anyone else ever experience this, or know how to "unstick" the RDS?

If this is a station programmed into your memory try replacing it with another station and then putting it back in. This took care of the issue I had with one of mine.

I tried that...didn't help. I have 2 friends that have had their whole head units replaced due to the same problem. Seems easier to just find a new favorite radio station.

You could eliminate the problem entirely to moving to Iowa where only 2 stations use RDS!

This may be a bit radical, but have you tried disconnecting the battery? Maybe something stuck in memory and could be cleared if it loses power. Just a WAG...

Removing the radio fuse would be less radical.
