I have a 45% or 40% tint and i live in ohio, where that is the max llegal tint. I wanted to get a 25 or 35 tint but the dealer told me that if i got pulled over and the cop actually cared, i would have to get it removed and have a llegal one applied, then show proof that i had done it in 30 days. The reason i am saying this is someone on here said in their state, if you got pulled over w/ an illegal tint, you just pay a fine and go on with your day, can anybody help me about which is the real punishment in ohio?

 

indeed lexus cars have some very tight seal around the windows, but that doesn't make it impossible to tint

most of the time the bottom part is the problem. so what you need to do is to ask them to tint it more downward to pass the seal (inside), so it won't get peeled off when you roll down the windows
