Default Neo Ion iPod Adapter

Has anyone successfully installed the Neo Ion iPod adapter (see it at the Mp3YourCar dot com web site) in their IS?

Is the stock radio capable of showing CD-Text? If it does this adapter will show the song and artist info:
"Playlist Title, Song Title, Artist Name and Album name information can be displayed on the Radio LCD or Navigation screen ONLY if Radio Receiver supports MD changer with MD-Text or CD changer with CD-Text."

Thanks in advance.

It looks so stratigh-forward. Just plug it into a CD changer port and you're done! Even if you can't see the tracks on the screen (the nav) the ability to change the track with the steering wheel controls is better than just plugging the iPod into the aux audio jack.

Did you try it? What happened?

$300? just so I can see the text on the head unit and use steering wheel controls?
not worth it to me even if it does work.

that's more than I paid for my 5g 30gb Ipod with video.
