if its a choice between unique lexus rims that i dont even like versus rims that i truly appreciate that may be seen on other cars....ill still take the ones i actually think look good.

if they look equally good to me, then of course take the unique ones from lexus. but why buy rims that arent that appealing just because its unique?

That's not to say that you can't find a great aftermarket rim for the Lexus, but I feel like most simply detract from the car and are put on for their own sake.

Trashing Lexus rims is ridiculous.
I have to say, I agree ^^^

i see that post "lexus rims=ugly" as just an opinion. he's not trashing the quality or R&D put into it, just stating its not to his visual liking. i agree with you, with the countless hours of putting together a great quality, and to some...a great looking rim, the lexus rims are def not garbage. but i do agree with that other guy who thinks they are ugly. good quality rims does not equal good looking to me. and in no way am i trashing the lexus rims, other than not liking the look

^^^ I totally agree with this guy!!!!!!

Thats why I sold my Ace wheels and now I rock on these OEM Lexus Wheels!!!!

I researched the G-Spider Wheels heavily... I loved the look and the Graphite Polished Finish, but the flat surface design is what turned me away.. They look great in pics, but when I finally got one in my hands and test fitted it on my 2001 IS300... I was stunned on how flat they were.. .

So I went with the 2006 GS 18x8 optional Tourmalines...(Thanks to Sewell Lexus In Texas)
They look great on my IS and I get plenty of compliments on my New OEM Sporty & Luxury look...

Too bad they only make them in 18x8's (No 18x8.5 available)...
This would be a great upgrade wheel for the new IS 250 & 350..

However, those of you who have the IS250 AWD, can use these wheels easily, with out any issues...

To comment about Lexus wheels being ugly.

I couldn't agree more! They are ugly, all lexus and most car manufactures stock wheels are usually there so that the owners doesn't ride on hubcaps.

Sure, most of the lower end aftermarket rims are can be made to fit any car, but I highly you will see any fixed up CIVIC with HRE or any premium aftermarket rims anytime soon.

The one thing that makes it so 98 CIVIC can't sport LEXUS wheel is the lack of bolt pattern option.

Personally I have G-Spider wheels on my car and they look great. Factory wheels are discusting to say the least.

I agree with the comment about the g-spider wheels, they are great, but if someone wiith a honda will spend 5 grand on paint, and 3 grand for lambo doors, 3 grand for a bodykit, they might have some expensive wheels, you never know
