Got $1100 off MSRP...Portland Auto Show special...didn't really get what I wanted on my S2000 but the discount makes up for it...after all its a net difference deal no matter how you look at it

The answer to your question is both.
I Spcial Ordered a SGM with Cashmire, sport, ML, Nav .Park Assist in October. They got in the SGM with black, Sport, ML, Nav, Spoiler. I decided to take this one rather than wait 3 more weeks. The interior was no big deal...the spoiler was nice to have..Giving up the Park Assist was the only big deal...I decided to go for this one since it was a bit less $$ plus I got the current and soon to expire auto show discount $1000.

Did you get this from Lexus of Portland? What was the Auto Show discount? Was it purchasing one from the Autoshow or were all IS on discount during the Auth Show event? I a $700 discount off my 250 from Lexus of Portland during the December to Remember event.

Auto Show Discount
The discount I got was about $1000. From my quick peek at the sheet the salesperson had, it looked like the discount varied based on model and options. I did get it at Lexus of Portland.
