While I was vaccuming out the car today, I noticed that the cover that covers the pedal assembly was missing. For those of you who have done the recall, did the tech put the pedal assembly cover back on after they replaced the gas pedal?

 

they should have. ive done a couple and it doesnt recall saying to throw that away

 

The plastic cover piece? Yeah I got it back. They might have just made a mistake.
