You did a far better installation job than the port did on the car we kicked back. Yours looks like it actually fits.

What do you have to cut on the rear bumper? Any pictures of that?

Yeah, there is cutting involved on the rear bumper. It's not that bad. The inside of the front and rear bumpers have markers on them for the holes and cut-outs. I was actually surprised to discover this. I don't understand how the port (as SilverBolt mentioned) can really screw it up.
Every single hole you need to drill is marked. The cut-out is for the exhaust. They even give you a lot of leeway when cutting the exhaust cut-out.

If you want to see pictures, go to the link I mentioned on the first page/first post.
The time consuming part of doing the cutting is being careful not to scratch anything.

It's actually the gold color. And I do too think its a great SUV. We have a few kids and the wifey was against a van (no offense to van owners, its just that each of our parents owned vans and we just wanted to break the mold). Also, atleast, I can roll in the GX when I feel like it.

So it looks like once you install the rear lip you can't go back, huh? Does the same apply to the front lip?

I think its just too slight of an enhancement to justify spending over $1,000 plus labor..
But some ppl just want a "slight enhancement" so to each his own..

excellent write-up and pics. This definitely made up my mind to get this kit for my black on black IS 350.

Thanks,

kit looks nice, bit disappointed in the sides, i like the front and rear. I have an OEM kit on my 2000 prelude probably the best OEM kit made, made a huge improvement in looks wish other kits were up to par.

If i get an IS, id probably end up getting the whole kit anyways -.-, dont like it when things are incomplete
