Yeah, I would say the front shows some resemblance, but the sides of the car I do not think as much....with that picture I have a hard time deciding......but what do I know

There's obviously some design/parts sharing, but to me, they don't look remotely the same. Similar... sorta, but not anywhere near enough to concern me.

The tail lights look similar.. thats about it. Interior-wise... same wheel buttons. I don't like the fact that they added the same AUX port for Mp3 for the camry. Nor do I like the fact that they use the smart access with push button start for the hybrid model.. They need to stop adding these things to make their lexus division more exclusive imo..

But still, this is probably the nicest camry yet... and it looks way better than it's competitors imo.
Then again, I drive a 91 camry as a beater..

I don't think there's anything wrong with doing this. New, innovative features always come out in high-end cars and then make their way down into the more standard models. The same is true for any technology product. Four years ago a camera on a cellphone was a very high-end feature, now it's almost impossible to get a phone without it. Nav used to be offered on very high-end cars only, now you can get it on a Honda Civic. That's just how the business works. I'm sure the next IS will have new features that Toyota branded cards won't have right away either.

I say big to Toyota for raising the bar on the family sedan. No doubt competitors will start offering more features like this too, to try to keep up.

The size difference between the IS and the Camry will be significantly distinguishable!

Yeah, it's got alot of the same sort of creases in the sheetmetal that I don't like too much. The Mazda carries it off better.

Uggh. Toyota needs to further differentiate their luxury cars from their economy cars. Yet another reason to go back to BMW for my next purchase. I've always wondered why the hell someone would buy an ES when they could get a Camry which pretty much looks the same.

The Camry does look great though. That's such an excellent car for it's price.

NO IT DOES NOT. THE LS 460 DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE CAMRY, THE GS DOES NOT. THE IS DOES NOT. NOR DOES THE RX, GX, SC or LX.

Lexus cars share L-finesse cues. THE 2 BRANDS ARE SEPERATING ITSELF!!!

Does the Camry trunk and LS trunk look similar (Bangle Butt), yup. Do they look alike, NOPE.
