IS 350 Manual
[QUOTE=PhilipMSPT]1) A manual would be great, but Lexus philosophy isn't about performance over luxury -- it's luxury over performance.
-That wouldn't seem to be the case with a sedan that is close to 5-sec. to 60mph....and the proposed AMG-style division Lexus is touting. I still think the manual will be available in 07 in the IS350. That's why I'm stalling on purchasing a new car.

+1....that was my exact situation as well.

They need to consult Audi. I've owned tons of cars and test drive about everything on the market and I've only come across one auto tranny that I could live with and it was in a loaner from the Audi dealer......an A6 with the bi-turbo V6. The "sport" mode on the automatic kept the cars CONSTANTLY in the powerband and the shifts were incredibly fast.....I never even felt the need to put it into "manumatic" mode. No other slushbox I've driven even comes close. I'd take that tranny with paddle shift any day.
