Default Allocations: How often?

Well, it's january... I think we should start to see a rise in IS's with better options start to trickle into dealers. I would think by mid February things should be in full swing. So how often do the dealers get updated allocation lists? And when does the lexus website get updated in relation to these allocation lists?

Not sure what you mean.
But I won't buy now. Nav and Premium are the only options available right now. I won't buy one until I can get the Lux package. Since I already have a car and only drive it a few days a week, I can wait and get what i want rather than settle. If we still don't have anything locally by February, then I will search out of town/state. Till then my MINI, bicycle, and motorcycle will do me just fine.

yeah, it sucks hearing how other dealers around the country are starting to get a decent inventory, and are even starting to offer discounts off of MSRP

here in Houston, the dealers still have very few cars, with very few options, and still aren't willing to deal

guess i may have to wait until spring

The first of each month the dealers submit their allocation request. By the 5th of each month they know what cars will be coming in.

Thanks, so just once a month then?
Well if that's true, and if lexus.com matches that, then the new allocations that popped up today including premium packages is it for the month of january.

Acording to the local dealer that's how it works. I have seen the build sheets of what cars are in the build cycle and it seems to match that information. Now it may take more than one shipment to get the cars from the port to the dealer so technically they may receive cars more than once a month.
