Default Is there a Difference between the GS and IS woods?

Hey guys i have a couple questions

First off is there a difference between

Auburn bird's-eye maple Found is the IS250/350

and

Golden bird's-eye maple

I understand they have different names but i've seen the new GS wood in person but not the IS how close of a match is it??

Anybody who knows please speak up!

Thanks

completely different color--Auburn maple is dark brown with a SLIGHT red tint; Golden maple is light orange with yellowish tint. Auburn Maple's hue is similar to LS's Walnut. To my eyes, the auburn maple is the perfect blend--not bloody red like GS's Red Walnut or fake-looking Black Maple--and was one of the reasons I chose the IS over GS (I didn't like any of the three wood colors in the GS).

You left out the GS Black Bird's-Eye Maple. Too bad they don't offer it on the IS with black leather.

I'm pretty sure that they will offer different interior colors and options in time. I would like to see black wood in the IS, and perhaps cardon fiber for those sporty enthusiasts.

Anybody want to attempt a photoshop project?
