ah yes those pics make it alot clearer that you aint getting that rear lip on w/o trimming the cut outs, haha. so much for wishful thinking
can anyone confirm that the front lip is installed w/o cutting. i looked at the instructions online, and it says you need to drill a slot into both sides and waht not. but i read in some threads that you dont need to cut at all?

Correct.. you can get away with OUT cutting the front...
Its held together pretty firm with the 9 bolts, 4 fasteners & double side tape..
The cutting out of holes on the front is just too over engineered..

Jz
which are these 4 fasteners you speak of? are they on the car stock, or does it come with the lip?
I am purchasing a used one this week, hence why I have been looking into installing it.
from waht i can see from the pictures the cutting of the holes looks like soemthing more along the lines for clearance or something? I cant really tell from the crappy pics on the install instructions, its either for clearance, or to force the owner of the car to buy a new bumper if and when they remove the lip,
quick question for the front lip does the clips just pop off? did u guys pull on the oem lip and the clips just popped off...or how did u guys do it?? thanks in advance....
I'm a new IS250 owner, and i'm interested in adding the front bumper ground effects to my car. I havent seen enough pics out there yet, but would it look weird if I only install the front, and not the rear bumper?
just installed mine today. I must say thanks man. your pics made me have abtetter idea. and not be scared of what i was dogin.
I was still terrified of drilling my bumper though. but everytihng came ok
