Default just curious: so far did all of the forum main...

so far did all of the forum main posters got their cars?

i do not see much IS on 101/880 or main roads like stevens creek/san tomas/lawrence
expressway, that is closer to my work/home in bay area.

i still see more bmw/audiA4/g35 when my eyes are looking at sports luxury cars.

i thought there are so many people excited about the car, that as soon as they
were released on oct 15th, there would be a lot of these cars on the road.

i have not bought it yet.

but , so far did all of the forum main posters got their cars?

well.. japanese people with their just in time inventory system that makes keeps their production at 100%.. so i mean they are selling at 105%... so that means that they should've taken up product 5% more... so the more people order the car.. the faster they will produce it...and they will keep up with the demand..

but in essence this will keep demand higher and more people wanting it... damn those Lexus marketers... they good...

I've seen quite a few IS250/350's around. Last weekend I was in the Carlsbad, CA area and I saw 3 brand new IS's driving around w/o plates in a single day.

Then a day later I saw a white IS350 in the Rowland Heights, Ca area.. It was on Colima/fullerton for the locals..

Mine has been waiting for me to pick her up, but I won't be able to do so until January.

By then, you should be seeing me drive along the 91, 605, 105, and 110 freeways.

Report from south Jersey

I got mine on 10/15. I saw a gray IS about 2 weeks ago as I was pulling out of work. It came flying down the road at an excessive speed. Couldn't determine whether it was a 250 or 350. My wife saw a black IS350 on the way to work last week.

I've seen one white IS250 here in the Irvine area, but no other 350s yet. It's not terribly surprising, though; from what the dealerships here told me about their inventories, there can't be more than a couple hundred in Orange County yet, and in an area with 25+ million people, the majority of which own cars, your chances of seeing another one are pretty slim.

I have been relishing the head-turns with mine, though -- seems like every other light I roll up to, the guy next to me is just staring at the car. =)

I got mine a week ago today. I've only seen one other one on the road and that was on halloween. And I do a lot of driving in the Tampa Bay area. I'm getting quite a few looks everywhere I go too. And is it just me, or are BMW, Audi, and mercedes owners trying to race you guys too. I had a turbo'd Civic try to take me on the interstate......he lost.

Got mine on the 25th of November. I still haven't seen one on the road at all here in WA as I've driven through Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, etc. All 600 miles worth, plus many more miles driven in the other car.

I'm in Schaumburg (biggest Chicago suburb with LOTS of dealers) and I haven't seen any on the road yet unless they're being test driven. Same thing with the GS430, too. I decided to hold off on receiving mine until after winter, so I'll be getting it March-Aprilish.
