does such a beast exist??
that's all i want. a 250 rear wheel drive, automatic, blue onyx pearl (or smoky granite mica) with sterling interior, nav system, luxury package (they keep telling me not available in socal... so, where then?) with 17" standard wheels.

You would want the LL (luxury package) instead of the LT (luxury package w/18" wheels)
Also add the NV (nav package) and your are all set.
2006 Lexus IS 250
4dr Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 6A)
MSRP Base Price $31,160
LL Luxury Package $3,495
NV Navi Package $2,550
Destination Charge $590
Total with Options $37,795
Invoice Base Price $27,419
LL Luxury Package $2,796
NV Navi Package $2,168
Destination Charge $590
Total with Options $32,973
I am about to order a similar car... but with the 250 MT, NV and ST package instead of your LL package. Blue, SGM, or Red for color... still debating on what to choose.
In NC they are not bargaining much from MSRP yet. I will probably have to order out of state to get a better deal.

It should be coming soon. Lexus updated the "Build Your Own" area for the 350 to have the Luxury and Lux + Nav... but ML and Sports are still missing. It seems the 250 haven't received the update yet or it may not be scheduled until January.
