The mp3 plug is in the center console. No idea about anything else. I too wish the HK exhaust would be here soon.

we are still trying to determine if cars equipped with ML can play DVD mp3s

 

OK, I know I am dumb about this but I just tried a cd with all mp3 songs in my wife's RX330 and it would not play. Does it require something special. It indicated it was playing but no sound, and it only saw one track.

 

The RX330 doesn't have the capability to play native MP3's... They have to be burned like a regular CD.

However, the IS can play data-based MP3's.

 

It is definitely worthwile to get an iPod for Christmas. I have the Nano which is my dedicated iPod exclusively for the IS350, goes in there never comes out (except to changeout music).

Dual sport exhaust will be available "Spring 2006", which should be around the time in which your car will arrive. I think the estimate price is $700.

That will be available by "Winter2006" which should be early next year. It's about $2400 for the full kit through the dealer, but you can get it for about $1200 online. Check out the CL search engine. Best pics can be found on Lexus.jp website.

Sewell Lexus has the PAINTED ground effect kit for about $1200 ($400 each for front, rear and side--don't know about shipping) and I think CL members get 10% off. I wonder if it can be easily attached over the existing spoilers with screws.

 

maybe an stupid question - but why burn cd (or dvd if you have navi) with MP3's, and skip all the extra costs associated with Ipod + Interface?
