Has anyone looked into ordering through carsdirect.com? Is it possible to get the requested packages even if they are not allocated in your area? I noticed they have started to offer $400 discount on IS250. I want lux/nav, and lux is not available in SoCal so I was considering ordering but do not want to wait and pay msrp at dealer. Any info on this appreciated.

my experience with cars direct is that they aren't as good as before...they definitely don't try hard to find the best deal. If you're dead set on the lux/nav then cardirect might be the best way...but if not, then i'd try just haggling with your local dealer...you'll get a much better price, especially if you're serious about buying.
