Just saw my first IS commercial during the USC ND Game

Caught it too. Really like the music. Don't undersand the "many sides of you" concept. This is Lexus' serious sport sedan entry. They should just be clear (and clever) and say that.

 

Still learning how to come up with a quality video. In the meantime, here it is: lexus commercial

 

I love how they threw in the local dealers at the very end.

 

Monday Night Football was full of IS commercials. I can remember three:

1) Man and woman shadowing one another and red IS appears behind their images.
2) Split screens of silver IS.
3) Split screens of black IS.

Were there any others? I know some people mentioned spinning cars and people with the IS driving through...

Opinion: not breakthrough material, but it did show off the car's design very well. No interior shots, or at least no memorable shots of it in the commercials (were there any?). And only one of the commercials tagged the 306 hp spec. Not one mention of price, ML, "standard options", blah, blah, blah... But then again, how can you describe the IS in 20 seconds without bombarding too much info to the audience?

 

The "multiple-dimension" idea is because the IS is not just a sport sedan. It has performance, plus Lexus Luxury, plus all the high tech features.

 

Pretty sure this commercial runs in every part of the country therefore they cannot mention ML and sport/luxury packages without causing confusion in markets where they are not available. Pretty sure this commercial was shot before pricing was released. Apparently it was a huge secret.
