Default Build your own Lexus IS

Hello everyone, seems like we are behind yet again from the rest of the World. Canadian Lexus website has been updated and you can build your very own IS

as long as the US website stays SO much better than the Canadian site! That is one of the worst "build it" sites ive seen. It looks like the packages are different in Canada with them having a "Moonroof Package" and others that are a bit different than what i've seen here - no separation of the NAV and ML. The scrolling down to have to see all the packages is really lame. I like the step by step system that the US site uses - looks way more professional. It might just be my computer, but the car colors are WAY wrong. Matador red looks almost like HOT pink (ok, exaggerating a little). Anyway, I can wait a day for the site, especially since my dealer just called to have me come look at it in person .

US build site sucks. You can only build what Lexus wants you to build for your REGION. Enter different zip codes, and you'll see different options and bundles. For example, there is no PCS listed on the "build your own" for GS430's on the west coast. Even though it is an option that can be part of a special order build.

Don't confuse "build your own" with special order build.

I didnt realize they changed it regionally. Good to know, but I still think that its better than the Canadian version. I know that its not the same as special order, they definitely lock you into tight packages on the website.
