Default Have you sat in an E90 yet?

You mention that there is no room for your feet in an E46. I don't think the E46 is that bad, but the new E90 is absolutely terrible. there is literally NO room for anyone's feet in the back. The seats just about kiss the floor mats in the back. My wife, who is only 5'4" could not even fit her tiny little feet under those seats. The new IS DEFINITELY has a lot more room for your feet. I think my wife may have snapped a picture that illustrates this, but take my word for it, there is a lot more foot room in the IS than the new E90.

umm from the 3rd pic it does seem that the rear seat is quite inclined. i hope with the front seat adjustment it will fit even better

Isn't this the first pic too of the rear center armrest in the down position?

Glad to see this board is busy again, imagine what a pic will do, uh?

Thanks for the new pix. Doesn't look too bad for a 6-1 person behind a 6-1 person. I'm 5-10 so that will add a little more. Definitely more room than my Contour so it may be OK. Still need to see the trunk and how difficult it will be to put two carseats in the rear. Can't wait until they arrive in the Fall to check it out.
By they way, did you notice if the rear armrest has cupholders?

Thanx for the pics Fortunately for me, back seat legroom won't be a huge concern for me for in picking a car for quite a while yet
