300k - master cylinder was replaced (I caused the issued, to coincidental that it failed after I did a two man brake flush)
350k - Catalytic converter passenger side was replaced
400k - water pump
420k - alternator
445k - 3rd replacements of shocks and struts
Im keeping an eye on my radiator and lower radiator hose. I keep a tight maintenance schedule on the car. I do 3k mile oil changes now since 350k. I change the radiator and transmission fluids every 50 - 60k. Differential 50 - 60k. Sparks every 60k unless I’m bored and Im on a staycation I’ll change it way sooner.
Ive gone through 3 sets of shocks. i just recently installed the KYB shocks and struts. But hands down the Ohlins I had ran gave me 225k with butter smooth road handling. IF this car gets me to 545k I might throw a set of Ohlins again.
I do have a small hissing sound coming in front driver foot well. Started 2 years ago. Had 2 mechanics look at it and told me the brake booster needs to be replaced to fix that noise I have. They told me the brake booster itself is still good and just tolerate the noise. So tolerating it at the moment. Maybe at 500k I’ll circle back and look at it again.
It would be cool if your car hits 500K. I don't think there is anyone that has 500K with 2IS.
Looks like no major issues from the car at high mileage. I already had changed my water pump and alternator before 100K; otherwise, it runs completely fine and smooth.
