Camshaft Position Sensor 2006 Is350
I've recently started rebuilding an 2006 is350 and after many headaches I have come down to my last 2 codes. The car has never ignited but it cranks and makes a whirring sound. When trying to start the car I have been met with a check VSC message and the codes P0345 (Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit (Bank2)) and P0365 (Camshaft Position Sensor "B" Circuit (Bank1)) . I replaced the battery and the sensors yet its still throwing the same codes. What should my next steps be to get it to start?

Make sure the ground straps (1 on each side of the engine, kind of nearby the camshaft position sensors.. kind of), are in fact connected and are not loose or rotating. They go from the engine chassis to the engine block.
maybe you just need to change your camshaft position sensors? I had to change one of mine so I ended up changing both. If you are around the SoCal area I’d be glad to give my old one it should still work. Is this for the intake or exhaust camshaft position sensors? 90 degree angle or straight angle connector plug?
