Help needed- hill-start assist doesn’t work
IS350C here (should apply to all 2IS’s)
My Hillstart Assist stopped working. It basically shows the traction light and “engages” but it doesn’t actually hold the brakes.
I made sure i bled the brakes properly. I’m not sure what to check next.
It was working before I took the calipers off to paint them and put them back on. Brake lines were disconnected before.
Could it be the brake hose in the rear having gotten damaged somehow and the fluid isn’t getting there properly??
I’m wanting to test if the rear brakes themselves are working as they should. Brakes feel solid but i’m not sure how to test if parking brake works well either. It seems to stop as intended. but if i try to drive it with it engaged, it doesn’t feel super restricted either…..
Any idea how to troubleshoot the hillstart?
