Starter Going Bad??

The starter is still working but is making a grinding noise like gear teeth sounds like the starter is not fully engaged up on the flywheel, I assume starter going bad????

What is the mileage? You need to ensure it is the starter before replacing it.

Had starter replaced with a refurbed one car is ok now!!

when the tech pulled the original starter out it was still the OEM Toyota wow lasted this long!!

I have not unfortunately, but I was told in the past before I owned a LS430, by a Lexus tech, that rebuilding the original is the best way, not just cost-wise, but to get the best product available reinstalled.
