I randomly had my whole Navi system go out and seen that they tend to do so but the radio volume controls and all that still worked. So first thing I did was check all fuses and they were all fine. But after doing so I can’t get the radio to work anymore. So I’m looking at options for a new stereo and wondering if I need to replace both sections or should the bottom section be fine? Or is there a way to check this?

 

Can I ask--what is the underside of the car like? If I'm not mistaken, the radio amplifier is in the rear right wheel well and tended to get damaged by rust. Maybe I'm just making this up, but let us know what happens.
