My driver side muffler is hanging low. I thought maybe just a hanger came off, but I cannot see anything that would hang that side of the muffler on the car (not even a place to put a coat hanger). Looks like the **** on the end of the muffler should hold something, but looking under there, there is nothing on the car it would attach to. If someone can snap a quick pic of theirs it may help. Any help would be appreciated. (It's just a Walker I bought a few years ago, so nothing special). Thanks. Paul.
The hangers for #2, 3 and 4 are all there and hanging. Is there supposed to be something attached to 17581A?
17581A is just the exhaust damper. It's supposed to be like that. Respectively #2,3, and 4 should have the rubber hangers. Look at the picture I posted top right detailed view.
You have to get a flashlight to see the hanger locations under the car. Closer to rear bumper reflector inserts above if that makes sense.
All the hangers are there (2 by the resonator and 2 on the back of each muffler). I was hit in that corner (not all that bad) and noticed this a few days later. Thought maybe something should be in front of that muffler somewhere.

Yeah its just a damper.
Here's my stock exhaust sitting in the garage about 6 years now.
Not sure what the problem is. It lifts up fairly easily> I don't see anything bent or rusted. Very strange. Need to figure out how to hang that up a bit.
