I have a 2008 is250 with navigation with 212k miles. The screen was turning on but wasn't recognizing my fingers so essentially the touch screen function wasn't working. I came on here and found nothing. Took it to local stereo shop in Ontario, California. They ordered a digitizer and installed it and everything worked as normal. No changes to the resolution or the response time. The price was $250 otd. Just wanted to share in case people are on same boat. Now all I have to do is fix front leather seats. Anybody have issues with leather tearing? I got one quote so far for $300 to repair. Sounds like decent price.

 

FYI that digitizer repair is in a few threads but sometimes the search engine gets finicky. Gratz on the repair!

 

Yup the is350 I bought recently had same issue, ordered a new digitizer on Amazon for 30$ and had it done in 2hrs. This tutorial was super helpful
