We’ve had this is300 in our shop for about 6 months and NOBODY has been able to figure out what is wrong with it.
it starts up and runs very smooth for about 3-4 seconds then dies.
so far I have ohm’d out the infamous fuel pressure resistor, checked all the injector plugs, fuel pressure test (45-50PSI), checked the relays, etc. the car throws NO check engine lights.
UPDATE: the car runs fine and doesn’t die when the MAF is unplugged. I will replace it and see where that takes us
Try changing out the battery in the key fob so the immobilizer doesn't activate and all that mess.
quick fix, cheap and relevant. Let us know if that works.
