IS300 won't start
Hi guys and gals, new to Club Lexus.
I have a 2001 Lexus IS300. The immobilizer on my key broke and my car wouldn't start. Before I had no such issue with this, so when I had my ECU modified (immobilizer removed) I thought I wouldn't have any problem starting the car. Now, it just doesn't want to start up, and when I sprayed starter fluid into the intake the car backfired through the intake.
Any idea as to what the issue is now?
I am at the end of my patience with this car, and don't want to drop too much more money into it as it's already pretty rough anyway...
