O2 Senors recommendations PO141 Code
Looking to replace a Bank 1 Sensor 2 on my 2002 IS. error coded PO141. Dealership is crazy expensive so doing it myself. Just order the O2 sensor socket by OEM and looking for recommendations of were to order the 02 sensor. AutoZone quoted 100.86. Seems expensive too. guessing Denso brand the way to go.
Any help greatly appreciated!!!

confirm the part numbers to make sure -
but i believe this is what you need: Denso 234-4015 Oxygen Sensor - its on amazon for 65$ now
i picked one up a few months ago for the o2 sensor on bank 1 (i.e., b1s2 - CAT efficiency related)
the sensor is pretty easy to get to in the engine bay. definitely get PB blaster or other penetrant - you will need a breaker bar and extensions and swivel joints if i recall.
the angle of the sensor and the location make it a bit annoying - but definitely doable

Awesome. And that price is good. Looks like AutoZone had it for 102 and dealer for 258. I order the tool that another member recommended in a different thread. I have WD40 but can pick up PB and soak it over night. So it’s the sensor located deeper in the engine bay not directly on top correct? Also did you disconnect battery terminal to reset check engine light?
thanks

look at the customer images.. someone marked it..
i had to replace "Bank 1 Sensor 2"
i suggest you make sure which one you need to replace before ordering - sensor and/or the length of the wiring differ.
my previous post was based on the Code i pulled when i had the CEL.
