Default Power steering pulley

Hi guys so yesterday my Lexi got to trippin I was turning u hear a nasty whiny noise I automatically said ok power steering I open the hood when I get home the noise was comin from the pulley I went to advance auto go a new went to take the old one off the pulley puller don’t work because there is no lip on this pulley it’s smooth how do I get this pulley of please help

Once you take the nut off, you should be able to just tap the pulley off. You don't need a hammer, just maybe a screwdriver. The center of the pulley has teeth and they slide over the shaft of the power steering pump.

Just a FYI, if your power steering pump is making noise, replacing the pulley won't make it go away. The bearings are inside the pump itself. Those can't be changed. So if it's making noise that doesn't go away its the pump that dying
