My (soon to be) first Lexus is300
Hello all,
I am sure theres hundreds of these posts out there on what to look out for on an is300. I know the few are: something to do with the fuel sensor, maf, timing belt, and sticky dashboard. My question is what else should I look out for? I am looking at 2003 is300 that has 137,000 miles and is in mint condition. I have yet to see it in person, but I wanted to know more beforehand so I can keep an eye out for it. In addition, I had some people tell me that the auto's on these are horrible and I had some say the manual's are horrible as the clutches have a short life. Can someone tell me, how good is the auto? I read many threads saying people had no issue with the autos, but I wanted to hear it from others.
Thanks all! (Please do not be rude to me, I am not a huge car guy. I lost my touch a while ago when school took over my life).
