Default Opinions Please: Rod stuck in tire

Hi CL! Was hoping to solicit some expert opinions on a recent situation. My wife somehow got a rod stuck in the rear driver side tire as shown in the pictures. We have since gotten the tire replaced and remounted.

It caused some damage on the internal wheelbase and scraped what looks to be the brake line. Does this look to be ok to drive or should we take caution and replace the scraped cable?

thanks in advance!

Cut the plastic cover back and feel how deep the wear is if you think its to deep replace (you are the only one to judge its your car) just use some body under sealant on the other wear. Lucky it could have ripped the brake line right out.
