Newb

Hey guys, new to the forum. I was wondering if you need to completely replace exhaust manifolds to replace catalytic converters? I live in CA and was wondering if universal converters could be welded on? Any help is great.

first off welcome. my dad had to weld new cats on the headers of his SC300, and I believe it is the same for your 01 IS if you go with universal cats. run the numbers pricewise but a low mileage oem exhaust manifold assembly can be had for relatively cheap

Tinted windows, refinished rear tail lights and completely stock besides K&N intake and unknown exhaust. Bought with cheap coil overs, thinking of replacing with stock suspension
