Shudder at 40 kph

Shudder at 40 kph
Hi,
I hope some one can help. Just new to the forum and recently purchased a 2002 IS200 Auto. Runs well but at exactly 40kph there is a shudder that vibrates thru the whole car and disappears pretty much as soon as the speed picks up over 40 kph. Definitely worse when labouring up a hill. I changed the transmission fluid which was black instead of red. This helped a bit but the shudder is still there. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem and if so what are some possible causes?
