Default just a little help

Hello again, I turned to this site yesterday for some help with my Lexus LS 400 as I was having tranny troubles. Anyhow's I ran a code reader and P1500 for transmission and P1400 for engine. Near as I can tell the ECU is not getting sufficient battery power. When I go to drive the car it starts up fine go to pit it in gear and I can select any gear with the shifter, but nothing happens actually selecting a gear the engines idle speed actually rises sorta like it would by putting it in park. I googled the trouble codes and tried some of the suggestions, checking EFI fuse etc etc. After all the fuses seemed to be good, I said to a friend who was helping me " watch I will start the car and it will move under its own power" sure enough it did but only for a second. It has done the exact same thing more than a few times. It seem to me the way the tranny will sometimes work would lead me to believe its electrical. I would like to know what pins on the ECU to check that would relate to transmission control, and any pionters from somebody who may have had a similar experience
